Businessman. He was founder of the Kimball Tobacco Factory in Rochester, New York, which he built around a handful of small tobacco-related devices invented by one of his employees. Kimball became one of the world’s largest tobacco product companies; the cigarette division alone supplied the world with 750 million cigarettes each year.
