Tiny Jones (Tiny Jones)
Actress. Petite, Welsh-born character player of Hollywood silents and talkies. She was typically cast as a villager or working-class immigrant. Jones made several films with director John Ford, including her first, “The Iron Horse” (1924), and her last, “The Quiet Man” (1952). In between she appeared in “Greed” (1924), “The Sin of Madelon Claudet” (1931), “Lady for a Day” (1933), “The Little Minister” (1934), “Mutiny on the Bounty” (1935), “Shall We Dance” (1937), “The Buccaneer” (1938), “A Christmas Carol” (1938), “Drums Along the Mohawk” (1939), “How Green Was My Valley” (1941), “None But the Lonely Heart” (1944), “Crack-Up” (1946), “The Lady From Shanghai” (1948), “Thr Snake Pit” (1948), and “M” (1951).
