Stanley Albert Fafara (Stanley Albert Fafara)
Actor. Fafara is best remembered for his role as ‘Hubert “Whitey” Whitney,’ one of ‘Theodore “Beaver” Cleaver’s’ best friends on the television series, “Leave It To Beaver” from 1957 to 1963. As an actor he also appeared in the films, “The Wonderful World Of The Brothers Grimm” (1962), as ‘Hansel,’ and “Good Morning Miss Dove” (1955), as ‘Fred Makepeace.’ He also appeared in the television shows, “Man Without A Gun” in 1957, “Wanted: Dead Or Alive” in 1958, and “The Adventires of Rin Tin Tin” in 1954. In his later years Fafara’s life was plagued by drugs, alcohol, and problems with the law. In 1995 he was in rehab, becoming clean two weeks later. He died on September 20, 2003, in Portland, Oregon, from complications from surgery on his intestine for a hernia. He was 53 years old.
