Shannon Day

Actress. Beginning her career as a teenager on the Broadway stage as a “Zeigfeld Girl” in “The Follies”, she went on to be a silent motion picture star, appearing in numerous productions. First appearing in director Cecil B. DeMille’s “Forbidden Fruit” in 1921, she would have roles in films such as “The Affairs of Anatol” (1921), “The Woman He Married” (1922), “Manslaughter” (1922), “All the Brothers Were Valiant” (1923), “Captain Fly by Night” (1923), “North of the Rio Grande” (1924), “Breed of the Sea’ (1926), ‘The Gypsy Romance’ (1926) and ‘The Barrier’ (1926).
