Roy Castle (Roy Castle)
Actor. Born in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire, England, he was a popular British dancer, singer, comedian, actor and musician. He began his career as a talented jazz trumpet player, then entered films making his big screen debut in “Sink the Bismarck!” (1960). His other film credits included “Dr. Who and the Daleks” (1965), “The Plank” (1967), “The Intrepid Mr. Twigg” (1968), “Carry on, Up the Khyber” (1968) and “Legend of the Werewolf” (1975). He was best know for appearing on many English TV series such as “The Good Old Days”, “New Look”, “The Harry Secombe Show”, Whose Baby?” and “Record Breakers”.
