Rosita Díaz Gimeno

Motion Picture and Stage Actress. She worked in Hollywood with Fox and Paramount in 1930’s, appearing in “Angelina o el Honor de un Brigadier” (1935), “Rosa de Francia” (1935) and “Vida Bohemia” (1938). He returned to Spain and become one of the most important actresses of the cinema of Second Spanish Republic. She was forced to exile during Franco’s Dictatorship and worked in Mexico in films such as “Pepita Jiménez” (1945) and “El Último Amor de Goya” (1945). Established in New York City, she become member of Spanish Language and Literature Department in Princenton University and Hoffstra University. She died in New York and according the wishes of her husband (Juan  Negrín jr.) was buried in private.
