Rev David Brainerd (David Brainerd)
American Missionary to Native Americans. Died of tuberculosis at the home of Jonathan Edwards in Northhampton, Massachusetts. He was close to Edward’s daughter, Jerusha (who is buried next to Brainerd). His Journal was published and has had a telling effect on many Christians since, including John Wesley, founder of Methodism.
