Patrice Wymore (Patrice Wymore)
Actress. Her mother was a pianist and singer, her father was an executive with a trucking company, Patrice became acquainted with the entertainment industry during her early childhood, as performed in song-and-dance routines on the vaudeville circuit, also at county fairs. As a teenager, she modeled and was a vocalist in nightclubs, in addition to gaining acting experience in stock productions. After appearing in two short-lived Broadway productions, she launched her Hollywood career in the motion picture “Tea For Two” (1950). Her following film “Rocky Mountain” (1950) starred icon Errol Flynn. An off-screen romance ensued and the couple married that same year. The union produced their daughter Arnella. At this point, Flynn was financially broke due to bad investments and suffering from alcoholism which prematurely aged him. His decline took a toll on their marriage and the couple separated shortly before his death in 1959. Her further film credits include “Ocean’s Eleven” (1960) and “Chamber of Horrors” (1966). Her TV credits include “Tales of Wells Fargo, “Perry Mason”, among others. She retired during the mid 1960s and resided in Jamaica. (bio by: C.S.)
