German Actor. Gastell, born Emilio Norberto Otto Max Gastel, was an actor known for his work in television and voice-over work. He was born to German parents in Argentina, but moved to Germany while a young boy.  Gastell started in television in the early 1960s and starred in such series as “Der Nachtkurier meldet… ” (1965-1966), “Merlin” (1980), and “Forsthaus Falkenau” (1989-2006).   He also was well known for doing voice-over work for American programming such as Homer Simpson in “The Simpsons”, Trevor Ochmonek in “ALF”, the bartender Coach in “Cheers”, and Cornelius Fudge in the “Harry Potter” series.   Gastell later was active in radio plays.
