Neal Dodd

Reverend and Actor. He entered cinema in the 1920s. He appeared as a minister in more than forty films. Among them are “It Happened One Night” (1934), “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington” (1939), “Four Wives” (1939), “Marriage is a Private Affair” (1944), “The Stranger” (1946), “The Killers” (1946), “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty” (1947) and “Here Comes the Groom” (1951). He was known as ‘Padre of Hollywood’ and he opened Saint Mary of the Angels Anglican Church in 1918. He was cremated and his ashes buried in this church. (bio by: JosĂ© L BernabĂ© Tronchoni)
