Maude Eburne (Maude Eburne)

Maude Eburne

Actress. Eburne started on the stage in Ontario and New York, later appearing on Broadway in 1914, playing a cockney maid. She played comic servants on stage until 1930 then moved to films in 1931. On screen, she played a variety of roles from maids to aristocrats to pipe-smoking harridans. Eburne retired from the screen in 1951. A spot in one of the units in the Court of Apostles at the cemetery was purchased for her and her family. Although some of her family rest there, her exact whereabouts is unknown – she may have possibly been cremated and scattered at the cemetery.  Eburne appeared in 115 films.
