Marguerite Nichols (Marguerite Nichols)
Actress. Born Marguerite Nichols, she played blonde ingenues and leading ladies in some 20 early Hollywood films. Her credits include “Counsel for the Defense” (1915), “Little Mary Sunshine” (1916), “The Torch Bearer” (1916), “The Power of Evil” (1916), and “The Girl o’ Dreams” (1918). Nichols retired from the screen in 1918 to marry comedy producer Hal Roach. Their children were producer Hal Roach, Jr. and actress Margaret Roach. She died at 45 of pneumonia.
