Maggie McNamara (Maggie McNamara)
Actress. Born in New York City, she began her career performing on Broadway in 1951. In 1953, she made her debut in the film “The Moon Is Blue” for which her performance earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress. Her other credits included “Three Coins In The Fountain” (1954), Prince Of Players” (1955) and “The Cardinal” (1963). For television, she appeared on the series “Alfred Hitchcock Presents”, “The Twilight Zone”, “The Great Adventure” and “Ben Casey”. She was also married to actor/director David Swift.
