Actor. He was known for his work in the theater, motion pictures, and television. He came from a theatrical family and appeared in his first play at the age of 7, but he would make his “true” theatrical debut twenty years later.  DeFilippo would later appear (and later direct) in many theatrical productions, but he also worked in film and television.   His film credits include “Twice Born” (2012), “But Forever in My Mind” (1999) and “Saturday, Sunday and Monday” (1990).  De Filippo’s television work included “Quel negozio di Piazza Navona” (1969), “Hit Man” (1986), and “Il ricatto” (1989).
