Louise Plowright (Louise Plowright)
Actress. Her best known role was that of the “abrasive hairdresser” Julie Cooper in the television soap opera “EastEnders” from 1989 to 1990. She trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and starred in various regional and touring productions of musicals. She earned a Laurence Olivier Theatre Award in 2000 for Best Supporting Performance in a Musical for her role in Mamma Mia! at the Prince Edward Theatre. Besides “EastEnders”, her other television and film credits include “Mack the Knife” (1989), “Footballers Wive$: Overtime” (2005), and “Grange Hill” (2005).
