Larry J. Blake

Actor. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he began his career on the stage and made his big screen debut in “The Road Back” (1937). A veteran of nearly a 100 films, his credits included “Backlash” (1947), “Cruisin Down the River” (1953), “Earth vs. the Flying Saucers” (1956), “Hang ‘Em High” (1968), “The Stone Killer” (1973), “The Strongest Man in the World” (1975) and “Tim After Time” (1979). During the early 1950s, he appeared in the role of Frank on the ABC-TV comedy series “The Pride of the Family”. He also appeared in the TV series “Gunsmoke”, “Perry Mason”, “The Virginian”, “Here’s Lucy”, “Adam-12”, “The Waltons” and many more. He was married to actress Teresa Blake and was the father of actor and make-up artist Michael F. Blake.
