Kathryn Rose McLaughlin

Actress. McLaughlin began her acting career at the age of 7 when she joined the Hugh Hamlin Killy Review. She graduated from the Belmont Professional School in Hollywood, California, when she was 18, and then became a member of a vaudeville act in the 1930s. Also a dancer, singer, and musician, she later received a contract from Warner Bros. Studios, and went onto appear in such films as “The Jazz Singer” in 1927 with Al Jolson, and “Three Little Girls In Blue” in 1946. During the 1950s she taught dancing and represented the Super Taps tap show. (bio by: K)
