Kathryn Crawford (Kathryn Crawford)
Actress. Born Katherine Moran in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, she began her career in summer stock stage shows making her film debut as the leading lady in “King of the Rodeo” (1929). For the next decade she appeared in over a dozen films to include “Kid’s Clever” (1929), “Modern Love” (1929), “King of Jazz” (1930), “Flying High” (1931), “Emma” (1932), “Skyway” (1933) and “City of Missing Girls” (1941). She retired from performing in 1941 and resided in Pasadena, California, until her death from cancer. (bio by: John “J-Cat” Griffith)
