June Travis (June Travis)
Actress. She appeared in over 30 films from the mid to late 1930s. Born June Grabiner in Chicago, she was the daughter of baseball executive Harry Grabiner. Her credits include “Ceiling Zero” (1936), “Jailbreak” (1936), “The Big Game” (1936), “Love Is on the Air” (1937) and “The Kid Comes Back” (1938). Among her leading men were James Cagney, Wayne Morris and Ronald Reagan. She retired from movies to raise a family and became active in the Chicago-area theatre. (bio by: C.S.)
