Actress. Her film career began in the silent era and transitioned well to the “talkies.” Appeared in Jacque Tourneur’s 1944 thriller “Experiment Perilous.” Played the role of ‘Mrs. Peabody’ in the unusual film-noir “Nightmare Alley” (1947), with Tyrone Power.
