Journalist, Author. Born Julia Schramm she began her journalism career with Sport Informations Dienst (one of Germany’s largest sports news agencies) and for the daily newspaper “die Welt.” Moved to a position as chief reporter for “Bild der Frau” (German weekly magazine for women) and later was a long-time columnist for the weekly newspaper “Welt am Sonntag.” Also provided Playboy (German edition) with a number of well respected interviews of prominant figures in politics and showbusiness. In 2002, together with Pastor Klaus Hurtz, published the book “Dem Stern entgegen” in which she expressed her thoughts on the Advent and Christmas seasons. She reached a completely different audience in 2003 with the biography of Daniel Küblböck (a German popsinger) in “Ich lebe meine Töne.” Was the wife of German journalist and newspaper editor Peter Boenisch.
