Jorge Guinzburg (Jorge Guinzburg)

Jorge Guinzburg

Argentine humorist, director, theatrical producer, actor and journalist. He was the owner of a particular style, handling double sense and irony magnificently. He wrote for different magazines such as “Satiricón” and “Humor”. He created and/or participated in several TV shows:  “La Noticia Rebelde” (The Rebellious News), “Tres Tristes Tigres” (Three Sad Tigers, the title being a part of a Spanish toungue twister), “Guinzburg & Kids”, “Mañanas Informales” (Informal Mornings), “La Biblia y El Calefón” (The Bible and The Water Heater, part of the lyrics of a famous tango called “Cambalache”), “Peor es Nada” (Worse Is Nothing) and radial participations. He wrote the daily column “Desde el Diván” (From the Couch), in the newspaper “Clarín.”  It chronicles where he ironically narrated his experiences with psychoanalysis. He died due to complications of a lung disease. (bio by: Rolo)
