John William Corrington

Novelist, and screenwriter. Graduate of Jesuit High School and Centenary College of Louisiana, both in Shreveport, Louisiana, and of the graduate school of the University of Sussex in Great Britain. He also held a law degree from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. Among his novels are “Decoration Day,” “Omega Man,” “Shad Sentell,” “The Risi’s Wife,” and “All My Trials.” Creator/screenwriter of several television programs including “Search for Tomorrow,” “One Life to Live,” and “General Hospital,” and of several motion pictures including the “Planet of the Apes” series, “Omega Man,” “The Killer Bees,” “The Arena,” and others. His screenplays, manuscripts, and other papers are housed in the archives of Centenary College. (bio by: Eric J. Brock)
