John Edward Carew

Sculptor. He was primarily known for sculptures of historical subjects in London. His projects included the “Death of Nelson”,  at the base of Nelson’s Column in Trafalgar Square, London, and his statues of Dick Whittigton at London’s Royal Exchange and of Edmund Kean at the Drury Lane Theatre.
