Joel Tanner Hart (Joel Tanner Hart)
Sculptor and Poet. Born near Winchester, Kentucky. Known for his neo-classic sculpture, he produced busts of such notables as Cassius Marcellus Clay, John J. Crittenden, Robert Wickliffe, Henry Clay and Andrew Jackson. Hart died in Florence, Italy, where he had maintained a residence for a number of years.
