Jack Allen Goodrich (Jack Allen Goodrich)
Actor, Sound Engineer. Beginning his career as a pioneer in radio and as a stage sound technician in the late 1920s, he made his debut as a sound engineer in the Hollywood film “Only the Brave” (1930). He soon established himself as a dependable sound man working on hundreds of films to include “Sitting Pretty” (1933), “The Great Gambini” (1937), “Batman” (1943), Criminal Lawyer” (1951), “Hot Rod Rumble” (1957) and “The Return of Dracula” (1958). For television his sound credits included “Cheyenne,” “Lawman,” “77 Sunset Strip,” “Hawaiian Eye” and “The Andy Griffith Show.” As an actor, he appeared in films such as, “Romance in the Woods” (1939), “Song of India” (1948), “Captain Pirate” (1952), “Gog” (1954) and “The Restless Breed” (1957).
