Isabel de Pomés

Actress. Born in Barcelona,  she was the daughter of famous actor Félix de Pomés. She began her career in the theatre and in 1940 entered films,  becoming a popular star in both comedic and dramatic roles. In 1952 she received an offer to work for Universal Pictures in Hollywood, but she refused to leave Spain.  Her credits include “Huella de Luz” (1943), “La Torre de los Siete Jorobados” (1944), “Botón de Ancla” (1947), “Marcelino Pan y Vino” (1954), “Un Ángel Pasó por Brooklyn” (1957) and “Salto a la Gloria” (1958).
