Inge Meysel (Inge Meysel)
German Television and Screen Actress. She was one of the most beloved television actresses in Germany. She was nicknamed “the mother of the nation”. She leaved Germany during Hitler’s rise to power, because his father was jewish. Among others, she appeared in TV series such as “Die Zeit und die Conways,” “Engel Schau Heinwärts,” “Gertrud Stratnitzki,” “Die Unverbesserlichen,” “Mrs. Harris Ein Kleid Von Dior,” “Polizeiruf 110” and “Heimatgeschichten”. In cinema, she worked on “Der Fall Rabanser” (1950), “Des Teuffels General” (1955) and “Nasser Asphalt” (1958).
