Businessman. The heir to the Robinsons Department Store empire, and son of Founder, John W. Robinson, he built the business into one of Los Angeles’ most successful department stores. Robinsons merged with the May Company in 1993, and today, Robinsons-May has 55 stores in Southern California, Arizona and Nevada.
