He was an executive who produced shows from the 1960s to the 1980s, and was responsible for such successful series as “Bewitched,” “Gidget,” and “The Flying Nun.” He was married to actress Elinor Donahue (best known for her role of ‘Betty Anderson’ on the comedy series “Father Knows Best”).
