Guadalupe Muñoz Sampedro (Guadalupe Muñoz Sampedro)
Actress. She was born and died in Madrid (Spain). She was sister of actresses Matilde and Mercedes Muñoz Sampedro and the pianist Natividad. She began her career on stage in plays such as “Bendita Seas” (1926), “Madre, el Drama Padre” (1941), “Soledad y la Difunta” (1962) or “La Vidente” (1965), with stock companys of Lola Membrives or Rosario Pino. She founded her own company in 1946. She entered in cinema in 1940 with the film “La Dolores” and she develope a prolific screen career, often in comedic roles, in films such as “Eloísa Está Debajo de un Almendro” (1943), “Ella, Él y sus Millones” (1944), “Historias de la Radio” (1955), “Los Jueves, Milagro” (1957), “Maribel y la Extraña Familia” (1960) and “El Abuelo Tiene un Plan” (1972). She was married to actor Manuel Soto, and her daughter was the actress Luchy Soto. Also her son-in-law was actor Luis Peña, and was the aunt of actress Pilar Bardem, mother of actor Javier Bardem.
