Etienne Girardot (Etienne Girardot)
Actor. Girardot, a well established stage actor before the turn of the century, went to America in 1893, making his stage debut in “Charly’s Aunt.” In 1912 he started his film career with Vitagraph in Brooklyn, often times going back to work on the stage. In 1933, Girardot returned to the screen permanently. Girardot died following a brief illness while preparing for a role in “My Favorite Wife.” Actor in 75 films. (bio by: TLS)
