Actress. She was born in Essen, Germany. She is best remembered for her roles in Rainer Wener Fassbinder’s films “Lili Marleen” (1981), “Lola” (1981) and “”Veronica Voss” (1982). She also is remembered as the voice of Marge Simpson in Germany. Also she worked in “Eine Frau fürs ganze Leben” (1960), “Liebe in drei Dimensionen” (1973), “Klimbin” (1973) that made her one of the best known comedic actresses in Germany, “Magdalena, vom Teufel besessen (1974), “Red Heat” (1985), “Manuel”(1986) and “Planet B: The Antman” (2002).
