Elena Lucena (Elena Lucena)
Argentine Actress. Lucena, born María Elena Lucena Arcuri, was an actress who was part of the golden age of Argentine cinema from 1940 to 1960. She started in radio and then transitioned to the “big screen” where she appeared in such films as “Brother and Sister” (2010), “Chimbela” (1939) and “El calavera” (1958). During the 1940s, Lucena worked with many of Argentina’s top comedians in films. Her film career included over 50 movies in a seventy year period. Besides her work in films, she also performed on stage in various theatrical productions and on television. Lucena was awarded various times for her achievements in acting.
