Eddie Barth (Eddie Barth)
Actor. Born Edward Bartholetti, he was dubbed “Mr. Gravel” for his distinctive deep, raspy voice. Performing primarily on television, he is best remembered for his role as Detective Myron Fowler on the CBS series “Simon & Simon”, from 1981 to 1989. He also had regular roles on “Shaft”, “Murder, She Wrote”, “Magnum P.I.”, “Civil Wars”, “Night Court” and “Stone”. His feature films include “Boardwalk” (1979), “Fame” (1980), “Born in East L.A.” (1987), and “Mr. Write” (1994). He also did voice over work on the films “Rover Dangerfield” (1991), “Babe: Pig in the City” (1998), and “Osmosis Jones” (2001), on TV’s “Superman: The Animated Series” (1997), and for Miller Lite beer commercials.
