Diana Wynyard (Diana Wynyard)
Leading British actress of both stage and screen. Born Dorothy Isobel Cox in London, she began her acting career on stage in 1927. In 1932 she made her Hollywood debut in “Rasputin and the Empress” anlongside John, Lionel and Ethel Barrymore. Her film career went on to include the likes of “Cavalcade”(1933), “Reunion in Vienna”(1933), “Gaslight”(1940), and “An Ideal Husband”(1947). She continued her stage work in to the 1950s, which included production’s in London such as “The Bad Seed” and “Toys in the Attic.” She was married to director Carol Reed from 1943 to 1947 and appeared in his 1941 movie “Kipps.” Following her funeral at Golders Green on 10th May, 1964, her ashes were scattered on Section 4-E of the Lawns of Remembrance.
