Daniel Robert Fitzpatrick

Cartoonist. In 1913 he began to work for the St. Louis Dispatch in St. Louis, Missouri, as a cartoonist. During his time at the newspaper he created some 14,000 editorial drawings that were championed toward the underdog types. In 1926 and 1955 he won the Pulitzer Prize for his drawings.
