Chrissie White (Chrissie White)
Actress. Born Ada White. Popular child star in early silent films, White got her start in the early 1900s, she is best remembered as ‘Valerie Sailon’ in “Possession.” White frequently appeared in shorts directed by Lewin Fitzhamon. In the 1920s married her long-time co-star and frequent director Henry Edwards. White left the screen in 1924, but returned briefly in the early ’30s to appear in a few sound films. (bio by: MC)
