Charles Callahan

Actor, Writer. He appeared in vaudeville with his brother, Bob Callahan, in an act called “Bob & Chuck Callahan”. He wrote nine, story/screenplays in the early,1930’s. Among them were, “Two Plus Fours” (1930),” Hot Wires” (1931) and “Night Class” (1931). He appeared in several, Three Stooges shorts including: “Punch Drunks (1934) as Mr. McGurn, “Grips, Grunts, and Groans”(1937),  Dizzy Doctors”(1937), “A Ducking They Did Go”(1939) as The Mayor, “Yes, We Have No Bonanza”(1939), “You Nazty Spy! (1940), and “Three Smart Saps”(1942). He also appeared on television on ”The Jack Benny Program”(1958) as a Broncos football player.  Inscription:INFANTRY CPL WORLD WAR I
