Bodil Ann Rosing (Bodil Ann Rosing)
Actress. Born in Copenhagen, Denmark as Bodil Hammerich, she was graduate from the drama school of The Danish Royal Theater. In early 1920s,s she relocated to America, performing as an extremely versatile actor in a variety of ethnicities on Broadway. Going on to the Hollywood studios, she made her big screen debut in the role as the Widow Gorman in “Lights of Broadway” (1925). Her more then over 80 film credits included “The Fleet’s In” (1928), “A Night at the Ritz” (1935), “First Hundred Years” (1938), “The Star Maker” (1939) and “No Greater Sin” (1941). She died of a heart attack at age 64 in Hollywood, California. (bio by: John “J-Cat” Griffith)
