Actor. He is best remembered for his role as cult leader ‘Horace Bones’ in the 1970 cult-horror film, “I Drink Your Blood.” The film was about a menacing cult leader and his followers who become bloodthirsty killers after eating meat pies that were injected with blood from a rabid dog. A descendent of one of India’s royal families he was born in India as Bhaskar Burmin Roy Chaudhuri Jr. on February 11, 1930, and after immigrating to the United States he became a dancer, travelling with a dance-company throughout the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s, before turning to acting. After turning to acting in 1970 he changed his name just to Bhaskar and appeared in other films including, “Blue Sextet” (1972), “Trisandhya” (1972), and “The Creation Of Woman” (1980). In the 1970s he fell off a stage and had to be confined to wheelchair, later turning to a career in painting. Some of his works hang in art galleries in New York City.
