Swedish Actress. Hiort af Ornas was a well known actress who had a long career in both film and television. She starred in her first film “Kvinnor i fångenskap” in 1943 and would later appear in such works as “While the City Sleeps” (1950), “Sju vackra flickor” (1956), “Brink of Life” (1958), “All These Women” (1964), “Smutsiga fingrar” (1973), and “Den utvalde” (2005).   Hiort af Ornas also starred in various television series during her career such as “Svenska brott” (1984), “Svenska hjärtan” (1989), and “Foreign Intrigue” (1954-1955).   During the 1958 Cannes Film Festival, she was awarded the “Best Actress Award” for her performance in “Brink of Life”.
