Actress. She appeared in several motion pictures of the 1930s through 1950s. Best remembered as Scarlett O’Hara’s mother ‘Ellen O’Hara’ in the 1939 classic drama, “Gone With The Wind.” She was actually only three years older than Scarlett actress Vivien Leigh.
