Comedian. Vaudeville performer and comedic film character actor, most notably in Laurel and Hardy short comedies. He and his wife previously worked with Stan Laurel on stage before Laurel became popular in motion pictures. Probably best remembered as the harassed next-door neighbor in “Perfect Day” (1929).
