Athole Shearer Hawks (Athole Hawks)
Actress. Born in Quebec, Canada, she moved to Hollywood in 1919 and started obtaining minor film roles. She made her debut in “The Flapper” (1920), followed by “Way Down East” (1920) and “The Restless Sex” (1920). She was also the sister of actress Norma Shearer and was married to film director Howard Hawks.
