Arthur Q. Bryan

Voice Actor. He was a comedian-voice actor, best remembered best for his longtime role as the wisecracking Dr. Gamble on the NBC Radio show “Fibber McGee and Molly”, in the 1930s. By the late 1930s, he relocated to Hollywood where worked voice over for the Warner Brother’s animation unit. There, he was noted for his character voice over in the cartoons as Elmer Fudd, plus sometimes for several characters, including Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and Porky Pig. He never earned a big break in films, some of his credits included “Road to Singapore” (1940), “South of the Boudoir” (1940), “The Devil Bat” (1940), “South of the Boudoir” (1940) and the Bugs Bunny short “Wabbit Twouble” (1941). For television, he appeared on the “Ozzie and Harriet Show”, “Handyman”, “Professional Father” and was a was a panelist on the TV show “Quizzing the News” (1948-49).
