He did 2 yrs in prison in 1962 for paying $35,000 in bribes to New York Supreme Court Justice James Vincent Keogh and Assistant U. S. Attorney Elliott Kahaner to assure a light sentence for a mob associate. In 1968 Corallo was sentenced to 4 1/2 years for bribing New York City Water Commissioner James L. Marcus. On Jan 13, 1987 Judge Richard Owen of the Federal District Court in Manhattan gave Corallo, Anthony Salerno (Genevese Family Boss) and Carmine Persico (Colombo Family Boss) all 100 year sentences. Anthony Corallo died on August 23rd, 2000, at the U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners in Springfield, Missouri.
