Andrea Palma (Andrea Palma)
Actress. She was born in Durango, Mexico. She began her career on stage. During a time in Hollywood with his cousin Ramón Novarro, she was the hatter of Marlene Dietrich and later, she worked there in several films. With the time, she become a diva of Mexican cinema. Among other films, she appeared in “La Mujer del Puerto” (1934), “El Señor Alcalde” (1938), “Bel Ami” (1947), “Tarzan and the Mermaids” (1948), “Pobre Corazón” (1950), “Mujeres Sin Mañana” (1951), “Mujeres que Trabajan” (1952), “Ensayo de un Crimen” (1955), “El Cielo y la Tierra” (1962), “Elena y Raquel” (1971) and “México de Mis Amores” (1979). She also worked in the TV series “Mi Esposa se Divorcia,” “Juicio de Almas” and “Pasiones encendidas” among others. Her husband was the actor Enrique Díaz Indiano and his brother the motion picture director Julio Bracho. Her real name was Guadalupe Bracho. She was cremated. (bio by: José L Bernabé Tronchoni)
