Amparo Guillén (Amparo Guillén)
Spanish Stage Actress. She was born and died in El Cabanyal (Valencia). She debuted in Madrid in the Novedades Theater. She triumphed on stage in early twentieth century. She appeared in “La Escalinata de un Trono,” “El Místico,” “La Tosca,” “Los Amantes de Teruel” and “Don Álvaro o la Fuerza del Sino.” She released the plays “La Duda” and “Los Dos Fanatismos” of José de Echegaray. She was the wife of actor and stage director Jaime Rivelles, mother of actor Rafael Rivelles and grandmother of actress Amparo Rivelles. She retired from the stage due to cardiac problems.
