Alyce McCormick

Actress/Singer. She began her career as a singer on the streets of Omaha, Nebraska, with her parents. She won a 1923 Nebraska contest and joined the Ziegfeld Follies. During her time with the Follies she was confused with actress Alice McCormick who was named in a divorce suit aginst Florenz Ziegfeld, so she changed her name to Joy Auburn in 1928. She appeared in the films, “Men On Call” (1930), “Reno” (1930), “Honk Your Horn” (1930), “The Terrible People” (1929), and “Mother Knows Best” (1928).
